Biko won her first speaking competition while still in kindergarden, she went on to become state champion and is now considered one of the most passionate and in demand speakers around. She has been seen on MTV, VH1, BET, MSNBC, Fox News and Comedy Central. Through her consulting and facilitation of training workshops, Ms. Biko raises awareness around issues including diversity, inclusion and media activism. As someone who navigates the intersections of race, class, gender and ability, Ms. Biko contextualizes her lived experiences with art, culture and politics and passionately covers topics including feminism, racial justice, violence against women and girls, HIV/AIDS and other health disparities.
